Elisângela Oliveira is an indigenous woman from the Apurinã and Kulina peoples. She lives in the Parque das Tribos community in Tarumã-Açu, Manaus, in the state of Amazonas. She is a graduate student in Fashion Design at Anhanguera University and also a graduate student in Physical Education. She is a stylist, artisan, crocheter, dancer, and coordinator of the Kaxiri na Kuia Indigenous Dance Group.
Sandra Cunha is an indigenous woman from the Munduruku people of the Terra Preta village and lives in Santarém, in the state of Pará. She is a Fashion Design student at Unicesumar. She is a bio-jewelry artisan, stylist, dancer, singer, and activist for the rights of indigenous women.
The Seanny Artes Atelier was created by fashion designer Seanne Oliveira of the Munduruku people in 2016. The atelier focuses on developing clothing pieces ranging from luxury to fashion, with a variety of handcrafted and recyclable designs, as well as artistic paintings representing Amazonian women.
Ateliê Reby StreetWear was created by stylist Rebeca Munduruku. The atelier focuses on developing clothing that reflects the urban and peripheral culture of indigenous people who grew up in this context. The clothing is inspired by Art-pop and street culture designs, but with a more Amazonian aesthetic.
The Sandra Munduruku Atelier was created by designer Sandra Cunha and represents the main symbol of her clan, the “Golden Ant,” and the beauty of the indigenous Amazonian women. The atelier focuses on developing modern clothing with designs that reflect the beauty of the Amazonian and indigenous culture of the state of Pará.
The Eli Oliver Atelier was created by the designer Elisângela Apurinã and represents the main symbol of her clan, “Peixes” (Fish), which represents the abundance of the Amazon River. The atelier focuses on developing handcrafted clothing with more natural textures and artistic work made from gourds and crochet.
